	<itunes:summary>Our Goals for the Free Political Roundtable is to create an avenue for which people can openly discuss and debate the issues behind the issues on Capitol Hill: the facts and figures of what&#039;s behind the news. Open up the &quot;Fourth Estate&quot; to everyone to have a voice of accountability to the three estates of Washington, DC: The Legislative, Judicial, and Executive branches of the United States Government, finally allowing the people of the United States and the World to have an uncensored and uninhibited voice on the topics and policies that ultimately affect every nation in every corner of the world. Bring together some of the world&#039;s most brilliant minds in politics to bring truth to the hype that the media provides, while allowing every man, woman, and child the chance to weigh in on those same ideas.</itunes:summary>

The issues could be anything that has effect on our daily lives from <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/education/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Education">education</a>, religion, <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/environment/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Environment">environment</a>, technology, to health <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/care/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Care">care</a>, media, society,   or <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/art/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Art">art</a> &#8212; the basic &#8220;A to Z&#8217;s&#8221; of life.</p>
<p>By discussing these issues, we hope to uncover the real sources that are negatively impacting daily life.  When we try to come to solutions through unfiltered and uncensored dialogues, we open the door for new <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/ideas/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Ideas">ideas</a>.  By featuring the <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/free/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Free">free</a> persons of our <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/podcast/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Podcast">podcast</a> thinking for themselves, we hope to get <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/people/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with People">people</a> engaged, first in <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/dialogue/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Dialogue">dialogue</a>, and finally in ways to actively improve their communities.</p>
<h3>Media for the Rest of Us</h3>
<blockquote><p>The media is too concentrated, too few <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/people/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with People">people</a> own too much. There&#8217;s really five companies that control 90 percent of what we read, see and hear. It&#8217;s not healthy. ~ <a href="http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/quotes/t/tedturner146533.html">Ted Turner</a></p>
</blockquote>
<p>Recently, major <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/media-news/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Media News">media news</a> has become increasingly political, corporate, destructive and divisive.  Too often, big media censors our <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/radical-ideas/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Radical Ideas">radical ideas</a> labeling them as too outrageous for the <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/mainstream/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Mainstream">mainstream</a>.  Yet, some of those very same <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/radical-ideas/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Radical Ideas">radical ideas</a>, that <strong>really are</strong> the innovative ones, can vastly change and help heal society.  In the current media system, we are reduced to being taxpayers, voters, viewers, workers, or just <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/commodities/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Commodities">commodities</a>. Rarely are we ever considered to be an intelligent, independent, and <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/free/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Free">free</a> thinking <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/people/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with People">people</a> with solutions.</p>
<p><a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/fpr/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with FPR">FPR</a> believes, we are all very able individuals capable of examining  problems in our  communities and acting   independently to solve those  issues at a <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/grass-roots-level/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Grass Roots Level">grass roots level</a>.  The <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/fpr/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with FPR">FPR</a>  <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/podcast/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Podcast">podcast</a> is designed to create  that <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/forum/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Forum">forum</a> for: we, the creative, self-aware, and independent  <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/people/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with People">people</a>  that can offer constructive,  informative, and enlightening discourse.</p>
<h3>Joining the New Paradigm</h3>
<blockquote><p>When I say it&#8217;s you I like, I&#8217;m talking about that part of you that knows&nbsp;that&nbsp;life is far more than anything you can ever see or hear or touch.&nbsp;&nbsp;That deep part of you that allows you to stand for those things&nbsp;without&nbsp;which humankind cannot survive. Love that conquers hate, peace&nbsp;that&nbsp;rises&nbsp;triumphant over war, and justice that proves more powerful than greed. ~ <a href="http://www.goodreads.com/author/quotes/32106.Fred_Rogers">Fred Rogers</a></p>
</blockquote>
<p>As we keep saying, it is time to explore the <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/world/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with World">world</a> with all the <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/radical-ideas/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Radical Ideas">radical ideas</a> &#8220;on the table,&#8221; together as as team and community — actually doing something about it in constructive manner without sidestepping each-other or the problems. It is time to think differently. We are heading into <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/unfamiliar-territory/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Unfamiliar Territory">unfamiliar territory</a> in this <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/future/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Future">future</a> we all have made for ourselves. Humanity simply will not be able to rely on the ways of the past to survive. As a result we feel we must open the door for this needed <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/creativity/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Creativity">creativity</a> to flourish and to get personal opinions out into the hands of others.  <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/free/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Free">Free</a> <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/people/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with People">people</a> thinking and sharing <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/openly/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Openly">openly</a> is the only way we can start.</p>
<p>The <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/free-person/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Free Person">Free Person</a>&#8217;s <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/roundtable/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Roundtable">Roundtable</a> is a <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/virtual-community/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Virtual Community">virtual community</a> <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/forum/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Forum">forum</a>  and <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/podcast/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Podcast">podcast</a>  available on iTunes that aims to facilitate real change in  real-life  communities all over the <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/world/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with World">world</a>.</p>
<h3>Correspondents</h3>
<blockquote><p>We promise to always work completely independent of any <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/mainstream/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Mainstream">mainstream</a> major media market, without the help of any <a href="http://fpr.podbrains.net/keywords/politicians/" class="st_tag internal_tag" rel="tag nofollow" title="Posts tagged with Politicians">politicians</a>, or be controlled by any big corporate investments.
